    MurrCatPlace

So this website was suppose to be a place to sell my Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7.

I bough it at the beginning of September. I was dreaming of such phone for more than an year – something small, foldable, elegant that has a small screen. I was sick of big phones.

I knew it would be a tough transition to Android. I was preparing mentally. But also on the other hand I was already a bit annoyed by Apple’s lack of innovation. And in terms of AI… What AI??

Alongside the phone I ordered a phone case and two Samsung Tags to track my keys and wallet.

The design of the phone! My oh my! Everything about the hardware was just mesmerizing. The front display, how it opens the main display the final touches, I was seeing myself using it and enjoying it.

Well the camera was not to be compared with the iPhone Pro 15 MAX but it was ok for day to day use. Yes, I was/am using this monster phone.

Long story short – I failed miserably migrating to Android. It took me 3 days to migrate all the data and the apps (with the needed configurations). Also despite the fact that I made the UX similar to what I have on my iOS the android was still confusing and annoying to me – “Are you going to use Samsung Notes or Google Notes?”, “Samsung Photos or Google Photos?”, “Samsung Mail or .. some other email client”, “Which calendar”…. choices, choices, choices.

I gave up. Took my sim and back to my monstrous iPhone 15 PRO MAX.

And here the journey begins. Brand new phone with less than 3 days of usage and 2 full battery cycles I still can’t sell it. I tried 5 different market places and I cant sell it for more than half the price. Half the price! .. for brand new phone. And on top of that I had to deal with all kind of scammers on these market places. And they are getting more and more sophisticated. I almost sent the phone to Italy although I knew there is something fishy. When I reported the increased amount of scammer on the website they said “We know, we know, we are working on it”.

So I decided to explore another approaches. I was thinking how can I sell my phone without actually selling my phone… I wanted to experiment.. perhaps give it as a prize for achieving something else…

And then I saw a post from a friend of mine who recently found a few kittens on the street and was looking for someone to adopt them. A weird connection appeared in my mind and decided to sell a package of cats with items. Some of you will judge me now..

Hey! I want to get rid of this phone.

Anyways, at that time it was a brilliant idea and I decided to make a place for such deals – Marketplace for cats – MurrCatPlace!

It was 10$ and I already spent almost a 100 for promoting the phone ad on marketplaces.

Until I realize this idea the kittens were already gone and my enthusiasm for this project died. But also I couldn’t dedicate the necessary time to make this project happen. So my domain was sitting unused.

For the past couple of months I was exploring different possibilities of creating AI agents and recently I came across the platform n8n. I was pleasantly surprised with the User Experience and capabilities of the platforms and decided to give it a try with few ideas that I have. I am still learning how to use it but it is SOO MUCH FUN.

It has been a long time since I was excited about technology. Nearly 7 years ago I decided to shift from my career from Senior Solution Architect to Soft-skills and Leadership Coach.

So being excited now about AI Automations I was thinking to share some insights about my journey and learning. I don’t know who will read it. Let’s be honest, nobody reads blogs nowadays for the purpose of gaining technical knowledge. At least I don’t do that and most of the technical folks around me don’t do that. I just hope that perhaps I can spark some curiosity with you while enjoying my style of typing. And NOT TO FORGET.. I hope to sell this Samsung phone that is still sitting in my drawer.

And here I am, using this murrcatplace for blogging about no/low-code AI automation, .. and perhaps even more.
